Responsibilities
- Create test plans and test reports
- Execute test cases, both manual and automated.
- Writing Python API automation test cases.
- Track issues both internally and in collaboration with core backend teams.
- Collaborate with peer testers and developers to improve testing processes and infrastructure.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in computer science or related field
- 5 years exp in API automation using Python
Prefered Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and tools.
- Eperience with API automation testing frameworks using python (Pytest framework is more preferable) .
- Exceptional debugging skills and ability to identify root cause of a test failure ; to identify if failure is due to wrong test procedure, bad test code, a device issue or device bug, and/or a test infrastructure issue or other system/network issue
- A deep passion about testing and quality assurance
- Knowledge of Linux, OS X, and/or Windows System.
- Handling cloud environments (Kafka, DynamoDB etc).
- Experience with a Python scripting language
- Experience working in an Agile environment and working directly with engineers
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
